Breakfast Club


Breakfast Club is available at Malvin’s Close from 07:45am each day.

Breakfast Club costs £1.20 from 07:45am – 08:10am.

This is payable via the school office and must be booked in advance.

From 08:10am until 08:40am a free breakfast club is on offer. All children are welcome to attend free of charge.

Children from Nursery-Year 4 must be signed into both paid and free breakfast club by a parent/carer.

Children in Year 5 and 6 must be signed into paid breakfast club by a parent/carer. Children in Year 5 and 6 can be signed into free breakfast club by a school adult.

Both provisions are in the school hall.

Toast and cereal are available every day, we also offer crumpets and beans on toast throughout the week.

Nursery doors open at 08:30am every morning. Reception, KS1 and the UKS2 doors open for the rest of school at 08:40am

Nursery 30 Hours Childcare Offer


3 and 4 year olds – up to 30 hours childcare

For working families

Working families need to meet the following criteria to be eligible for up to 30 hours funding for their 3 year old:

  • you and any partner, must each expect to earn (on average) at least £167 per week (equal to 16 hours at the National Minimum or Living Wage).
  • if you, or your partner, are on maternity, paternity or adoption leave, or you’re unable to work because you are disabled or have caring responsibilities, you could still be eligible.
  • you can’t get either 15 or 30 hours childcare if you, or your partner, each individually expect to earn £100,000 adjusted net income or more.
  • eligible working families can get up to 30 hours childcare. This cannot be used in addition to the 15 hours available for all 3 and 4 year olds.
  • If eligible, the 30 hour funding starts the term after your child turns 3. Term start dates are 1st September, 1st January and 1st April.
